Lions and Tigers and (West End) Bares, oh my! Theme announced for Bares 2017

West End Bares/Proud Unicorn

After two sold-out shows last year, West End Bares is returning for 2017 – and they’ve just announced a rather magical new theme.

Get ready to strip along the Yellow Brick Road in a trip to the Emerald City you’ll never forget. Ruby Strippers (gedditt?) is the theme for 2017 as we we’re heading to OZ!

The hottest annual theatrical fundraiser will return on 29 October to London’s Novello Theatre at 7pm and 9.30pm in aid of the Make A Difference Trust – a UK based charity with a vision of a world free from HIV and AIDS.

Celebrity guests for this year will be announced in the summer, but previous celebrity supporters have included Eddie Izzard, Dame Judi Dench, Michelle Visage, Samantha Bond, Graham Norton, John Barrowman, Ramin Karimloo, Bianca Del Rio, Joe Lycett and Beverley Knight.

West End Bares is based on the original concept Broadway Bares by Broadway and West End director and choreographer Jerry Mitchell to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids.
