Listen to new Years & Years track in Baz Luhrmann’s incredible H&M x Erdem film

Welcome to The Secret Life of Flowers…

A brand new Years & Years track – titled Hypnotised – has been premiered as part of Baz Luhrmann’s incredible new short film for H&M’s Erdem collection.

The stunning visual is set in a expansive country mansion flourishing with flowers, along with a cast of actors and models.

Tom Rhys Harries, Hero Fiennes Tiffin and Ruby Dagnall are three main romantic leads, with a somewhat ambiguous love triangle.

“I wanted the film to be like a whole movie,” said Luhrmann

“It’s a very modern love story, set in a country house that is full of its own secrets and it’s like a metaphor for our times – it’s harsh out there in the world, but in here, the things that really matter keep growing in an eternal spring.”

Years & Years frontman Olly Alexander added: “It was a really wonderful experience working with Baz, he’s so passionate about every detail, and I was really excited to be part of something so creative. Plus, I’ve always been a fan of Erdem.

“The song is about falling head over heels for somebody and it totally up-ends everything you thought you knew about yourself.”

H&M x Erdem will be launched online and in store on 2 November.

The collaboration follows H&M’s previous team-ups with the likes of Alexander Wang, Kenzo, and Balmain.

Years & Years, meanwhile, are currently working on their second studio album, which will serve as the follow-up to chart-topper Communion.
