Ever wondered where Todrick Hall gets his incredible creative drive from? All will be revealed in a brand new documentary about the star.

Aptly titled Behind The Curtain: Todrick Hall, the new film focuses on the multi-talented singer/actor/choreographer as he prepares to release his visual album Straight Outta Oz and embark on a headline tour.

Fans will witness the story of how this small-town Texas boy worked his ass off to big-time show business, in an “inspiring documentary of grit, perseverance and the redemptive power of art.”

Bob the Drag Queen, Nicole Scherzinger, Jordin Sparks, Wayne Brady, Amber Riley and GloZell Green are just some of the big names who will make special appearances.

“Anyone who has seen Todrick perform can attest to the extraordinary artistry he brings to everything he does,” said Jim Stephens, President of Wolfe Video and Wolfe Releasing.

“Behind The Curtain: Todrick Hall showcases his immense talent but under Katherine’s accomplished direction it goes deeper; cracking open his stage persona and revealing a remarkable young life, a tireless work ethic, and an insatiable passion for uplifting the lives of those around him through music.

“As the largest exclusive distributor of LGBT films, we at Wolfe Video are thrilled to partner with Awesomeness Films to bring this story to audiences around the world in December.”

The film is directed, photographed, edited, and produced by Katherine Fairfax Wright, who previously helmed award-winning film Call Me Kuchu.

Ahead of the film’s release, Todrick will host a special screening and conversation for fans on 6 December at New York’s IFC Center.

Behind The Curtain: Todrick Hall will be available worldwide through iTunes, WolfeOnDemand.com, Amazon Video, and Google Play on 12 December.

It will then be released on DVD a week later on 19 December.
